Admissions for Azim Premji University’s one-year master’s programme in Law & Development (LL.M. in Law & Development) for the academic year 2018-2019 are now open!
The LL.M in Law & Development is a unique, inter-disciplinary programme taught by internationally trained, reputed faculty to a select group of highly talented students carefully chosen from law universities from within the country and overseas. The programme is designed to build an exciting and intellectually challenging classroom environment together with intensive well designed field engagements, external internships and dissertation writing. It is dedicated to building a new generation of legal scholars and practitioners committed to the realisation of a just, equitable, humane and sustainable society.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible to apply, applicants must possess a Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized degree-granting university in India or abroad. As the Bachelor of Laws is in most cases a non-specialist degree, the LL.M. in Law & Development programme will be open to students with diverse interests in law and development. The selection of candidates is based on a national admissions test followed by an interview.
