One of the contemporary but neglected areas in the Indian
legal realm is Air and Space laws. To fill this gap and to promote further
studies and research in the aerospace law, the NALSAR University of Law established
the advanced Centre for Air and Space Law (CASL) in 2005 with the objective of
promoting the study and research in the field of aviation and space laws and
related policies. Since then, NALSAR-CASL has continually promoted the study of
Air and Space Law by introducing courses on Air and Space Law, conducting
National and International Conferences, Moot Courts, Workshops and also publishing
Newsletters, Books and Articles, besides awarding a few M.Phils. and Ph.Ds.
